Please i have a probleme with a panoramic dental Gendex ; i cannot finish a cycle for exposure =>the tube and the receptor stopped and it give me error ;Panoramic stand xray break .
please if you have any idea for the this problem reply me.

Hello
Maybe the problem is one of the micro switch that controls the movement. They are located under the top cover. You can easly remove tha cover, 4 allen screws. Place the machine in the start positions, then order a turn without Xrays and check were it stops and the correct switch action.
I have the manual in case you need it.

thanks Mr fernando for you answers , i will check the micro switch i would like to told you that it does not stopped in a single position ,but it stopped in different position sometimes at the beginning and sometimes in the middle.

Hi,
Did you check the continuity of the X-ray hand swicht cable?
I don´t have the manual in *.doc, neither *.pdf format. But in case you still need it I could scan all the manual, let me know in that case..

Hi,
Maybe you have a problem with the movement or the speed. Do you have CR or conventional film?
I´ll try to scan the manuel but it will take time ´cause there are a lot of pages.

I have the cr, the problem is that sometimes the images are good and sometimes it's kind a white wash. I was thinking to check the kV & mA regulation to see if its stable. I can't do it without manual. Highly appreciated your help.

We have some problem in gendex orthoralix sd2 when we turn ON it after a few seconds the following error appears on control panel
SYSTEM CPU FAIL
E2PROM CHECKSUM
what should be the solution for this

This mean that you have a problem with E2PROM on the microprocessor board. You can reset or replace it. If this didn't help you must replace microprocessor board.
If you replace or reset the E2PROM you must recalibrate the system - tube calibration, all movements ..

With reset no progress same error can you please send me some direction where is it located (E2PROM) and after replacement of E2PROM what process or procedures should i have to done

Hi - I also have a problem with image quality. Image is fuzzy, can't seem to get a clear enough image for diagnostic quality. Imaging software can only do so much when the source image is not sharp enough. Gendex helped to callibrate. This is a used pano and they don't make all the parts anymore. What part affects sharpness? Any ideas? Maybe someone can help all of us dealing with this.

Latest Gendex suggested I order a cable that connects the PA7 board to the PA6 board. I hope that helps. This is a used pano but had low usage. Does this sound like it would work? And is there anything else I could try?
