     Appending a sub-question to your answer : Can you pl clarify how to move app file to sd card?

     alternatively , how to know which files are on phone memory and which files are on sd card?
     A file explorer is not available

   • Microsoft only allows installation of apps into internal memory.

     Also,till now,there's no system wide file manager in Windows Phone(WP). So,all you can try is to view such files in computer.

   perhaps you need Dev account that will unlock the phone so that to be able install xap

     An error mentioning like ' this is company app , not installed' avoids installing an app manually

     Windows phone store mentions that an app has to be installed manually (if it is not installable automatically in store )

     if windows store tell you it must be installed manually then you have to do it, now why is not possible check above link.

     I very much understand your point.

     Pl note that for installing manually it has to be moved to SD card first.
     When I downloaded an app from mobile browser , it did not show where on phone it got downloaded and gave the error I mentioned.

   • Also the section of apps on sd card is not available in wp8 app store!

   • i think you have to make developer account so that to unlcok the phone??

     you can contact the developer to get the file if you need then the developer can advise you better if unlocking/extra coding are needed.
